In this interview, Julianne Sharples, explains the initiative which involves training up unemployed Geoscientists on the skills of rock physics whilst they are seeking their next role. Ikon Science is giving away thousands of dollars of software to those affected by the downturn in the hope that when things pick up, even more people understand the power of RokDoc and want to bring rock physics workflows to their exploration projects.
